Flash Vs. Apple & HTML 5

Flash has been a very successful business for Adobe for years. They started out for PCs using a mouse and now they want to stretch out beyond the PC. But now with everything being mobile and touch screen, Adobe needs to either change Flash a lot or completely go to HTML 5 such as Apple, Google, Netflix and many other companies. I think that Adobe needs to completely change to HTML 5 and try creating new tools for that rather then trying to update Flash when there is already something new out there. Technology changes everyday and if you get stuck on one thing for too long you could really fall behind.

What I would like to learn from this class is how to build and design a web site. Almost every Graphic Design job out there requires you to know the web. I am really looking forward to learning something completely new to me.
